Meridian Releasing Group was founded in Houston, Texas in 2017. MRG believes in bringing independent filmmakers and their projects, which may have been overlooked by larger distributors, to a wider audience. While acquiring distribution for their own feature film projects, the staff at MRG experienced how difficult it can be for independent filmmakers to get their projects released. MRG will strive to create a simple, yet effective strategy for releasing quality independent films. Meridian Releasing Group watches every film submission and does not accept films just to build their catalog.

Partnerships have been developed with leading content providers including Amazon, Google, Vimeo and iTunes. MRG also has deals in place to provide DVD and Blu-Ray releases through major online big box retailers. All feature films will also be submitted to Netflix and Redbox for consideration.
